Worked on a new website for myself today. I still have a lot of work to do on it, most of the comic posts are experimental at best.
I’m planning on updating my future webcomic on there and any general art I feel like uploading. This was the kick I needed from tumblr to get to work!

Here I thought I could give it a try, fool that I am. I thought I could just check with my archive page to painfully clean up the offensive posts, one by one.
Boy was I wrong, It looks like tumblr decided to just hide most of my posts. I assure you, in october 2016 i had WAY more posts, since i participated in inktober, but it decided to skip from 2016 to 2018 on that page- i changed none of the filters btw, this is just the default view.
Oh, maybe it was just on my nsfw blog- NOPE! The blog i exclusively made for general art decided to skip my entire 2017 inktober, and most of my posts since…
Weird thing is, they’re still on the blog. Some flagged, some not, tho I did notice some have been deleted entirely without my knowledge.
This is a nightmare and it somehow keeps getting worse.
Projects I had planned to release with comics about my d&d and VtM characters.
I’ll be working on my own website where people can filter trough what they want to see- whether it’s a webcomic, general art or just doodles. This has been somewhat of a wake-up call for me to put more effort into my personal stuff.

Sigh- I just heard the news about the nukes on tumblr. I know I haven’t been posting as frequent and as many nsfw drawings as I once did, but I had plans for that sort of thing, especially a few comics. And i just generally like to look around at nice porn blogs from time to time.

I’ll have a lot of cleaning up to do till the 17th of December ( if I get enough time to do so, that is) when the new policy comes into play so, just in case I didn’t get to scrub out every last piece of nsfw art I had, you’ll know why my blog is gone.
I’m probably going to make a hentai foundry account to post nsfw art- or something like that, I haven’t decided yet.

I still have a sfw blog @tomis-safezone and the ask one @tomistalks but I’m not sure about how motivated I’ll be to stick around after tumblr purges 90% of the content that I like.
It’s been a fun ride, with a lot of ups and downs, I’m grateful to all the great people I got to meet and interact with on this site. Thank you for all the good times and if you’re jumping ship, I hope you find a better place to express yourself and make new friends!

You know what? Nevermind, I see that not even my safezone blog is safe since it apparently started to flag completely safe images as well…. I’ve requested a review, but if this blog disappears as well, because of an awful algorithm, you’ll know where to find me.
I had one more burst of inspiration and worked on another portrait for the Mechanicus40k art contest. Thought I might as well play with some more lighting and mood :)

I recently found out about the art contest for the Mechanicus40k Game and here are my entries. I was just so inspired I could think of nothing else but this competition.
The Omnissiah blessed my PC and it crashed less in the making of these drawings. Side by side comparison with the original line art below the cut:
Made this drawing back when I saw the first trailer for Dragon Ball Super: Broly. I got carried away with work and forgot to post it, but here you go. I’m still so excited to see the movie!

Taking their name from the Greek goddesses of the arts, the muse was one of the first creatures of The Dreamtime I came up with. The muse creature embodies what I want for The Dream as a concept; something alien, abstract, yet familiar. It feeds upon an abstract concept and it has ties to madness and chaos, yet it is not inherently malicious or evil.
Mechanically, I wanted to create a creature that could be seen as toxic, something that needs to be excised, but not hostile. If a group cares about the fate of someone, the muse has to go, but violence isn’t always the answer. A muse can serve as a viable social encounter; convincing it and its host to separate, without the use of force.
Since the game isn’t just about social encounters, a muse can be a combat encounter but the resulting damage done to the host could lead the party into trouble with the law. Fighting a mortal enthralled by a muse may result in some stickiness that can cause conflict later on.
Overall, the muse was an creature designed early on to exemplify several aspects of lore and gameplay and I felt that I achieved this goal!

Oh sweet muse, of all the toxic delights one should be convinced to give up, why does it have to be you? I don’t think I would be able to give up on a bond with a muse.
I can see a great dilemma, depending on how a party of investigators choose to deal with a delicate situation such as this.
Thanks for another great entry! Definitely one of my favorites (totally not biased at all).
